We've been awarded the Climate Change Champion Award at the National Youth Worker Awards!

We're delighted to announce that our very own David Hodson has been awarded the Climate Change Champion Award at the National Youth Worker Awards on the 10th of March. We were up against stiff competition and all finalists were worthy winners.

This award is great recognition for all the work that the TYA team of staff, volunteers and members have put in over the past year. This has been very much a group effort and without the commitment and hard work from everybody involved we wouldn't have managed to make our Food and Bike Punks projects the success they have been.

We're delighted that we've been able to reach hundreds of young people throughout Tweeddale on the need to address climate change and carbon reduction. We are now seeing the start of our young people taking an interest in the world around them and our Small Steps Big Changes project has opened some eyes, as well as giving those who were already engaged, a platform to get involved and take action.

A huge well done to Dave and the TYA team!!
