Food Punks continue to smash it at community events!
Our Food Punks are going from strength to strength and in September we were centre stage at Peebles woodland Festival.
This was a great opportunity to show the community what young people are capable of and Food Punks worked their socks off to give the local community a chance to taste some delicious soup, made with veg from our local greengrocers that would have otherwise gone to landfill.
The Food Punks cooked up a storm and their food was much appreciated on a foul, wet and windy evening. Best of all, our young people got the chance to spread our climate change message and gave away flyers and recipes for all the amazing soup they’d made.
It also gave us a great chance to show off our amazing bike contraption, complete with programmable lights that promoted the event and created a stir!
