New members are always welcome!
To come along to youthy, you don’t need to book first or contact us.
You can just show up at a drop-in time that suits your age and we’ll make you welcome!
All new Tweeddale Youth Action members will then need to fill out a membership form. You can ask a youth worker for a paper one or download one below and email it back to us.
If you’re under 16, your parent or guardian needs to complete the form.
If you’re over 16, you can fill out the form yourself.
Our membership forms are pretty simple. We just need:
your name, age and address
your emergency contacts
any health concerns, allergies or additional needs
whether you consent to emergency medical treatment, if necessary
whether you consent to us taking and sharing photos of you
We’re not being nosy - this info just helps us keep you safe at youthy and in the event of an emergency.
Your details are securely stored at our youth clubs and digitally.
All staff and volunteers undergo Child Protection training to ensure anything sensitive you might tell us is handled with the proper professional procedures.
We have also all passed our PVG check through Disclosure Scotland, which means we have undergone the criminal background checks needed to work safely with young people.
