Scottish Child Payment and Best Start Grant & Best Start Foods

Social Security Scotland is a new public service that has been created by the Scottish Government to deliver devolved benefits to the people in Scotland. This includes benefits for families on low incomes, disabled people, carers and young people entering the workplace.

How do parents apply?

People are encouraged to apply for the Scottish Child Payment, Best Start Grant and Best Start Foods on a single combined form at www.mygov.scot/benefits/
